We use the industry recognised Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) system in our tree safety inspection surveys.
All of our consultant surveyors are licenced users of the QTRA system and are trained to a minimum of NQF Level 6 in the field of Arboriculture.
The benefits of using the QTRA system is that by allocating quantifiable values to the probability of failure and impact potential of trees, and to the targets upon which trees might fail, the inspector can accurately determine the level of risk a tree poses. This enables property owners to balance harm from trees against a reasonable (or acceptable) level of risk, prioritise remedial works and proactively allocate budgets.
